Staci+Clay::Engaged

I just wanted to share with you my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE from Staci & Clay's session. I have like 6 other sessions I need to blog. I'll get to them...eventually. Things have been a little crazier than usual around here lately. ;)

I had a ton of fun with Staci & Clay! First of all their love is apparent...I was afraid that ALL of their photos would be of them kissing. ;) We shot for like 3 hours and went all over the place. My favorite part of the day was when we went down to River Falls. We hopped on a Ranger and drove down into the canyon and found some really great places to shoot. It was the perfect time of day...gorgeous light, no wind, simply beautiful! Staci's older sister Keely is getting married this summer, too. I shot her engagements on Friday so look for those images soon. For now, here are some of my favorites from Staci & Clay's session. Peace+Love.

KISS

I got my first KISS book on Tuesday! Simply put...it's HOT!!! I'm going to be ordering a ton of samples of these. I want one in every color! This one is called "Forbidden Green" and it looks GORGEOUS with Colleen & Dustin's images. I shot a few quick photos of it last night. You'd have to see it in person though. It's sick!!! :)

Jessica+Josh::Engaged

I won't be able to shoot Jessica & Josh's wedding but I was honored that they still wanted me to shoot their engagements. Jessica & Josh's session was WINDY...but loads of fun. So much fun, in fact, we're going to shoot again this weekend! I love it when people come to me and say that they are the least photogenic people I will ever meet. I love it b/c I can totally prove them wrong. I would say they are pretty photogenic...wouldn't you? Here are some of my faves from their session...I can't wait to go out again! Peace+love.

Josh+Amanda::Engaged

Now to the good stuff. I had a blast with Josh & Amanda last weekend! They had me in stitches the entire shoot. I cannot wait for their wedding in June...it's going to be super gorgeous and SO MUCH FUN! I loved watching how they interacted with each other during our session. I have never come across an engaged couple so comfortable with each other and especially with a camera shoved in their faces. The way Josh touches Amanda and leads her while they are walking or just keeps a hand on her arm or waist is so sweet and endearing. I'm so happy for them and know that they are going to have a truly blessed marriage full of love and longevity. Congrats you guys! I can't wait to see you get hitched!!! ;)

Amanda + Josh : Before & After

I thought I'd share a couple of "Before & Afters" from Amanda & Josh's engagement session. Also, I know Amanda is DYING to see her pics so here's a little teaser, Amanda! More from Amanda & Josh's session soon... ;)

For all you Photogs:
These are typical "Before & Afters". "Before(s)" are, of course, straight out of the camera. "Afters" are achieved by bumping up sharpness (I don't ever sharpen in camera), contrast, adding a little Photoshop action, and sometimes a light vignette. Sometimes I have a little bit more fun and add some texture or super saturation. These images were shot w/ my Canon 40D and 85mm 1.8, using available light.

Ellie : 1 Year Session

Windblown, sunburned, sore, exhausted...what a day I've had! I had so much fun today though. :) I had a full day of engagements and we went to some awesome places. More on that later, though.

You might remember Ellie from this session. Well, she's 1 year old now and such a cutie! I had a lot of fun with this session (I know I say that about every session...but it's true). There's nothing better than chasing a cute little girl in a tutu around! I'm really liking working with textures and did a lot of fun new things with these images...different than I've been doing.
